Paul H. Lutton
Paul H Lutton has had an incredibly rich and varied career beginning with a masters in Astronautical and Aeronautical engineering. He then became an Air Force pilot. When he tired of flying jets, he got a degree in architecture at UC Berkeley, designed and built many custom houses as well as over 400 bagel stores for a national bagel franchise.
He established an organization that provided not only architectural services, but construction, real estate development and R&D for energy conservation products.
When the construction industry tanked in the 1980’s, he made another career detour to develop custom software for manufacturing, architectural, and facility management applications.
After he moved to Vieques, a small island in Puerto Rico, he designed and built private homes. When hurricane Maria destroyed much of the island, he helped start a non-profit that provided emergency services for the many displaced islanders. He became a full-time volunteer for over four years thereafter and remains on the board of directors.
He has authored 3 books, the most recent being Boomers Out of the Box which has formed the foundation for this videocast.
Dr. Lonnie Barbach
Dr. Lonnie Barbach is considered the Dear Abby of sexuality and relationships for the baby boom generation. From For Yourself: The Fulfillment of Female Sexuality to The Pause: Positive Approaches to Perimenopause and Menopause, Dr. Barbach has guided countless women through the stages of sexual discovery. Her practical and sage advice is characterized by unjudgmental warmth, always with an emphasis on self-determination and pleasure.
Dr. Barbach is pioneering yet again with this Boomers video podcast. Considered a pioneer in her field, she began her career as codirector of clinical training at UCSF medical school. Her dozen books, translated into an equal number of languages, have sold over 4 million copies in the U.S. alone and have been translated into 11 languages. She has appeared on most nationally televised talk shows, many several times, including Oprah, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Donahue, Larry King, etc. etc. and has had ongoing advice columns in Playgirl Magazine, New Woman, McCall’s and eternelle. Articles about her and her books have appeared in most major women’s magazine including Ladies Home Journal, Cosmopolitan and Glamour among many others.
Her most recent creative endeavor prior to this videocast was as Director of Content for Happy Couple, a quiz-style game app that takes the participants from dating to building a healthy and sustainable relationship.
